A quick visit to Early Birds this morning

Good afternoon,

Today  whilst out and about I visited Early Birds in Creswell. During the visit, the children were given the opportunity to look inside the police vehicle, with the lights and sirens activated, and staff were able to take photographs.

Some of the children were a little shy to begin with, but they all left smiling — and I even received high fives from everyone.

Although the children are very young, early positive engagement is really important. Short visits like this help children feel comfortable around the police, create positive memories, and support long‑term positive relationships between the police and the local community.

It was lovely to meet the children and staff during this visit 👮‍♀️
